If you like turkey hunting, we have the birds. Our Eastern Turkey population is incredible and we have some of the heaviest turkey's in the country. In the spring of the 2006 season a Deer Step Hunter took the new state record for heaviest Eastern in Alabama at 25.6 lbs. We can even provide guns and ammo for your hunt if needed. |
| We take great pride in our food plots and plant some the best forage for our deer and turkeys. Advantage Ladino Clover, chicory, winter peas, and brassicas are in our perennial food plots, and Iron Clay cowpeas and LabLab are planted every summer. |
